Tips on Taking Great Photos of Your Trophy

Hunting is about making memories and telling your stories. Nothing captures that moment in time like a photograph. BragginPhotos will help you re-tell your story for years to come.

· Get in the habit of taking a camera on ALL of your trips.
o Digital Cameras set on the highest resolution is best <4mega pixel
o Disposable cameras are better than no pictures at all. Don't be afraid to use them.
Great photos are made by taking pictures.
· Learn how to use your camera. Read the instruction manual.
o Self timer: Used frequently
o Low light settings: For early morning and evening shots
o Using the flash.
o Carry a small tripod if you can. If a tripod is not available then rocks, branches or even your gear can be used effectively.
· Composition
o The sky makes a great background. The next best thing is green grass or snow. Make sure that your background is uniform.
o The focus should be on the animal not what is behind it.
o Tip the brim of your hat up so that your face can be seen.
· Lighting
o Take pictures with the sun in your face. Pictures taken towards the sun will darken and ruin your pictures.
