Tips on Taking Great Photos of Your Trophy

Get in the habit of taking a camera on ALL of your trips.

Self timer: Used frequently

Low light settings: For early morning and evening shots
o Using the flash. o Carry a small tripod if you can. If a tripod is not available then rocks, branches or even your gear can be used effectively.

Composition

The sky makes a great background. The next best thing is green grass or snow. Make sure that your background is uniform.

The focus should be on the animal not what is behind it.
o Tip the brim of your hat up so that your face can be seen.

Lighting

Take pictures with the sun in your face. Pictures taken towards the sun will darken and ruin your pictures.
